University of California Los Angeles campus (UCLA) from 16-18 June 2020

The organizers have been privileged to have excellent researchers and Nobel Laureates like Alan J. Heeger, Robert Howard Grubbs and Shuji Nakamura at our previous events. This year in 2020,  Nobel Laureate Sir Fraser Stoddart will give plenary talk.

AAAFM Awards:

AAAFM honors and recognizes international scientists who have shown, during the course of their professional careers, outstanding achievements in the fields of Functional Materials.

Nakamura Award ($5000)
The AAAFM-Nakamura Award (named after the Nobel Prize winner Shuji Nakamura) is a prestigious prize conferred on an outstanding, dynamic researcher for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the field of Functional Materials. The age of the candidates must fall within this age bracket 46-65 years.
 Heeger Award ($3000)
The AAAFM-Heeger Award (named after Alan J. Heeger, Nobel Laureate) is a prestigious prize conferred on an outstanding, dynamic young researcher for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the field of Functional Materials. The maximum age considered is 45 years.
Stoddart Award ($3000)
The AAAFM-Stoddart 2020 Award (named after Sir James Fraser Stoddart Nobel Laureate) is a prestigious prize conferred on an outstanding, dynamic young researcher for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the field of Functional Materials.
Outstanding Poster Presentation Award
AAAFM-UCLA aims at setting a platform for all the budding scientists and researchers to present their real-time work and share their views and aspects related to the theme of the conference.
