A special issue in Nanomaterials, an open access journal of MDPI will focus on native or modified CDs leading to novel polymeric, amphiphilic, metal, and hybrid backbones in material science. These nanoplatforms can have the ability to covalently conjugate active moieties and complex guests through supramolecular interactions or physical entrapment. Applications for drug delivery, food manufacturing, renewable energy and green chemistry are welcome by the guest editor: Prof. Anonino Mazzaglia (CNR-ISMN c/o Dipartimento di Scienze Chimiche, Biologiche, Farmaceutiche ed Ambientali dell’Università di Messina, Viale F. Stagno d’Alcontres 31, 98166, Messina, Italy).
Deadline for manuscript submissions:
30 November 2019
