Posted by The 17th edition of the European Symposium on Controlled Drug Delivery will be held on April 10 – 12, 2024 in Hotel Zuiderduin in Egmond aan Zee, The Netherlands.
The beautiful location of hotel Zuiderduin (www.zuiderduin.nl), near the sandy beaches, and a promising symposium program ensure both a relaxing and scientifically rewarding event.
Throughout the previous editions, the symposium has established itself as a high-quality symposium on all aspects of Advanced Drug Delivery. The program comprises about 25 lectures given by invited experts from academia and industry on cutting edge topics in this field. Sufficient time is reserved for discussions and meeting of colleagues during the lecture program and our highly successful poster session.
Scientific topics of the symposium will include:
- NUCLEIC ACID DELIVERY
Challenges and opportunities in controlled delivery of RNA and DNA therapeutics.
- PROTEIN DELIVERY
Meeting the special requirements for the delivery of vulnerable proteins.
- NOVEL CONCEPTS, MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES
New approaches to overcome physical and biological barriers in controlled drug delivery.
- TRANSLATIONAL DRUG DELIVERY RESEARCH
Translation of nanomedicines from academia to industry.
- TARGETED DRUG DELIVERY
Exploiting extra- and intracellular transport mechanisms for targeted delivery.
- IMAGE-GUIDED DRUG DELIVERY
Imaging techniques & stimuli-responsive carriers and their role in controlled drug release.
Besides the invited lecture program, a lively poster session with drinks will be held on Wednesday evening. Three poster prizes will be awarded for the best presentations!
All participants are encouraged to contribute to this event by submitting a poster abstract! The abstract template and additional information how to submit your abstract will be published on the symposium website shortly.
The symposium covers 2.5 days; from Wednesday morning 10 April 2024 until and including lunch on Friday 12 April 2024.
Registration is open from Tuesday 9 April 18.00-21.00h at the symposium desk, after which you can join our get2gether party in Hotel Zuiderduin.
On site accommodation and meals in Hotel Zuiderduin from 9 April (evening) until 12 April (lunch) are included in the symposium registration fee.
