Cyclodextrins involved in clinical trials to start

According to clinicaltrials.gov, currently, there are 14 cyclodextrin-related clinical trials that in the status of i) , ii) or iii). These include 5 studies on Niemann Pick C, either sponsored by Vtesse/Mallinckrodt, CTD and Washington University School of Medicine and 3 on Sugammadex related treatments sponsored by the Federal Research Institute of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology, The University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston and Christoph Czarnetzki.

The other trials spread on a wide range from anticancer treatments such as camptothecin nanoparticles combined with enzalutamide (NIH), treatment of metastatic melanoma (Univ Arizona) and relapsed/refractory small cell lung cancer treated with nanoparticle camptothecin combined with olaparib (NCI) through treating acute cerebral hemorrhage (Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine) and subarachnoid haemorrhage (Evgen) to cervical myelopathy (Seoul National University Hospital).
