Special issue: Novel macrocycles: from synthesis to supramolecular function

Posted by

This thematic issue in Beilstein Journal of Organic Chemistry aims at collecting new discovies on macrocycles such as cucurbiturils, calixarenes, cyclic peptides, etc. Emphasis is placed on the synthetic methodologies used to develop new hosts, alongside exploring the supramolecular properties and functions they support, such as catalysis, chiral sensing, the synthesis of mechanomolecules, and molecular and biomolecular recognition.
