Launch of the North American Cyclodextrin Consortium (NACC)

Posted by

The North American Cyclodextrin Consortium (NACC), a new forum for researchers, students, and industry partners working with cyclodextrins across North America has been formed by Amelia (Mia) Anderson (Cyclarity Therapeutics), Lian Rajewski (Ligand/Captisol), Jo Krise (Ligand/Captisol). The goal is simple: connect people, share knowledge, and give North American CD science a stronger community alongside groups like EuroCD and ACC.

In addition to ongoing networking, NACC plans to host a dedicated cyclodextrin conference in North America, creating new opportunities for exchange and collaboration. While the group is rooted in North America, international colleagues are warmly encouraged to participate.

Our Mission
To foster collaboration in cyclodextrin research across North America and to establish a platform for scientists, researchers, and industry professionals to share insights and accelerate innovation.

Why NACC?
Vibrant and engaging cyclodextrin research groups already exist in Europe and Asia, with events like the European Cyclodextrin Conference (EuroCD), the Asian Cyclodextrin Conference (ACC), and the International Cyclodextrin Symposium (ICS). Recognizing that cyclodextrin research is also active across North America, we aim to create a collaborative platform for researchers to connect beyond Europe and Asia. We warmly invite and encourage the international community to participate in NACC, with a special focus on supporting North American researchers, laboratories, and companies.
