In this short report, we introduce a unique baked good from Korea: a cyclodextrin-containing bagel shaped like a cyclodextrin—though, in the final consumer product, it is regrettably sliced into chips.
However, this isn’t just any bagel – this one may hold onto its delicious garlic aroma for longer, thanks to the presence of cyclodextrin.
Ingredients: Plain bagel (wheat flour, sugar, salt, barley flour, yeast), onion bagel (wheat flour, sugar, onion, salt, barley flour, yeast), syrup (sugar, margarine, modified butter), butter garlic flavor seasoning/emulsifier, leavening agent, pH adjuster, silicon dioxide, antioxidant (vitamin E), flavoring, sweetener (aspartame, L-phenylalanine compound, stevia), cyclodextrin, (contains wheat, dairy ingredients, and soy)
