Posted by A recent review [1] on the copolymers of beta-cyclodextrin with 192 references can be useful for those who want to overview the various synthetic routes of beta-cyclodextrin based polymers. The review suggests methods and conditions used for the optimized synthesis of copolymers of β-CD. Approximately 50 types of methods for polymerization and grafting are discussed. The analytical techniques applied for characterization of these copolymers are also summarized. At the end of the review a short description on the applications is also given.
