Cyclodextrins have been important and widely used polymers in the field of biotechnology due to their features. They are used in each and every aspect of biotechnology, including vaccine and drug formulation development, disease diagnosis and treatment, fermentation, agriculture, the food industry, cosmetics, and tissue engineering.
This Special Issue of Future Pharmacology aims to collect the most recent uses and the latest applications of cyclodextrins in the broad spectrum of biotechnology. It will be published in Future Pharmacology , an international, scientific, peer-reviewed, open access journal on pharmacology, drug discovery, and therapeutics, published quarterly online.
