A short tentative abstract (100-150 words) describing the topic covered in the planned contribution is requeired within the next month. There is plenty of time for preparing the paper, since the deadline for submission is now 20 October 2021.
All papers, including invited papers, will be subject to the same rigorous review process as is usual for publication in Pharmaceutics. After peer review, papers accepted to the special topic will be published as ready without delay in a regular issue of the journal, and will also populate a virtual collection. As such, inclusion in the special topic will not delay publication in any way.
Pharmaceutics is fully open access, indexed by SCIE (IF 6.321, ranks 28/275 (Q1) in the category ‘Pharmacology & Pharmacy’). Currently, an Article Processing Charges of 2200 CHF (Swiss Francs) applies to papers accepted after peer review.
