Hewlett-Packard has developed a multi-fluid kit for three-dimensional printing, comprising:
– a fusing agent including:
– an electromagnetic energy absorber; and
– a first liquid vehicle;
– a detailing agent including a second liquid vehicle; and
– a flame-retardant cyclodextrin compound that is included in the fusing agent, or in the detailing agent, or in both the fusing agent and the detailing agent.

Several examples illustrate the innovation in the following patent application description:

Interestingly, the International Search Report for the PCT application carried out by the European Patent Office cites our blog via a post added by Éva Fenyvesi, underscoring the value of easy access to cyclodextrin-related information.
