Researchers from the United States 🇺🇸 developed fast-dissolving HPβCD nanofibers containing a three-drug combination of aspirin, paracetamol, and caffeine commonly used to treat headaches and migraines. The CD-based nanofibers incorporated all three drugs at ratios matching a commercial formulation and significantly improved dissolution, disintegration, and drug release compared to powder. The work highlights the potential of electrospun CD nanofibers as a fast-dissolving alternative to conventional tablets for acute pain treatment.
