Kyoto – former capital of Japan as expressed also in its native Japanese name – will be the capital of cyclodextrin enthusiasts between 7-10 November, 2025 hosting the 12th Asian Cyclodextrin Conference.
The organizing institution will be Doshisha University, Kyoto which has been earlier the venue of the 14th International Cyclodextrin Symposium (in 2008) and the 4th Asian Cyclodextrin Conference (in 2007).
Japan is famous for its four distinct and breathtaking seasons, and many visitors to the country often consider the Japanese autumn to be the most beautiful as the colors of the leaves change into vibrant shades of orange, red, yellow and brown. This autumn foliage is a magnificent sight that has inspired artists and poets for centuries. In Kyoto, autum foliage begins in mid-November, so it is the perfect timing for the visit wisely selected by the organizers.
